Revision 2 (C)1999 Jason DuMars

About Revision 2:

When I originally wrote the Saxophone Buyer's Guide back in 1995, it was a very different world. The Internet was just beginning to receive exposure and information about saxophones was scarce and often unreliable. It was in this environment that I decided to write what would become the most widely-read guide on saxophone purchasing in history. In the time since, purchasing a saxophone is absolutely nothing like what it was then. In 1995, there were no real Internet classified sites, no on-line auctions, and very few saxophone shops on-line. The result of this galloping technology is a market that is even more complicated for a potential buyer/seller. This revised document addresses the new mediums and adds some helpful pictures!

Over the last 4 years I have received literally hundreds of e-mails from thankful readers, and I hope this new version is even more useful.
