St. Louis-based drummer Montez Coleman has assembled a band to span the generations of jazz, highlighting the incredible history of the music (tenor sax legend Houston Person), it’s current firepower (Coleman and guitarist Eric Slaughter), and the young guns preparing to take up the mantle (bassist Nathan Pence and more).
