Sarah Jane and Blue Notes is one of the most unique variety bands in St. Louis. Led by vocalist Sarah Jane and featuring some of the most talented musicians in the area .The Blue Notes offer a festive blend of hot swingin' jazz & blues ranging from the 1920's through the the 50's. Influences include: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Bessie Smith, Nina Simone and the Nat King Cole Trio - just to name a few.
