Selmer Paris Horn- Grenadilla Wood?? SN D3099

At an auction I bought several instruments and am trying to figure out what they are and what they are worth. I have what I believe is a sax... came in a Selmer Paris hard case and has Selmer Paris stamped on the bell. The only # I find is D3099 which according to the Selmer website was made in 1929. The instrument is made of grenadilla wood, though, and I cannot find one sax made from wood. Is it possible it's not a sax? I can send pics if it would help. Thanks Kim

No one has ever reportedly made a saxophone from wood. You have an alto or bass clarinet.
