New...but not too green

I'm new around these parts so hopefully I don't say anything to create an uproar, I don't know what those entail and I don't know the damage but we're all sax players so how bad could it get? Senior in high school been playing a while and I’m in the process of auditioning for college, a daunting task I know! Thanks
