I recently bought a fibracell 3 and one half reed, because thatat is what the chart said, and it seemed really bright, but it projected nicely. Then I went down to a size three reed. I got the same tone as my La Voz medium hard reeds which was great! At first the reeds seem bright and that the have alot of edge to them, but if break them in after about three to four days they play great. Plus they last like six weeks.....Rudy
