i also have a mild case of TMJ, sometimes it does get in the way, but then again it doesnt seem mine is as bad as yours. if it starts getting too painful you might want to try and get some muscle relaxers. i know that when my jaw starts to really hurt i pop a few musce relaxers and the pain subsides. other than that im not sure, i hope you feel better before your gig man. take care
