    I would recommend a Meyer 5M, but you may not like it because it has a medium tip opening. Since you're used to Guardalas you might want to try their alto mpcs. The most important thing is to try as many as you can, compare each, and make the best choice.

      try a rousseau JDX, i double on bari and after 2 months of playing a gig of just bari, i could blow to my hearts content on the rousseau

        RPC's are a great alto mouthpiece, but they cost around $220 or so.

      Do you have a store nearby that will let you try out different mouthpieces, because that is really the only good way to go about it. Also, are you looking for metal or hard rubber?

        Well, I am making a trip to the Woodwind Brasswind retail store this weekend, that's the reason I'm asking about mouthpieces. It doesn't really matter what material, used to metal, but not opposed to hard rubber

          If your looking for the absolute best sound go with the jody jazz DV Very expensive but worth it

            check out the Barrone pieces. The hard rubber are very nice, and reasonably priced
