      Well, i'm looking to get a tenor sax and i've always been fond of selmer. So, if i'm going to buy a new one, i wanted to find out which would be better.

          Well they're saxophones, and when you ask this kind of question your going to be told either one because people are going to put what works for them, and no one is the same so your going to find people that like the 54, and others who like the 36. Both are fine horns it all comes down to personal preference :)
