In search of sax teacher

I'm an advanced classical saxophonist going to college a long way from home. Since I live at home during the summer, I'm looking for a sax teacher in my area, which is Warminster, PA. For the summer, I really want to work on improvisation and jazz (since I'm mainly a classical player), and I definitely need someone who's going to be extremely patient. Any suggestions?

    How far are you willing to drive? There's some good teachers in the Philadelphia and the Pittsburgh areas.

      Try to get in touch with Ron Kerber at UArts in Philly - hands down, the most knowledgeable, inspiring, and patient teacher I've ever known. Ron is an amazing musician - great jazz musician, can teach improvisation at all levels; from basic chord/scale relationships to conceptual stuff. As far as classical saxophone goes, again, he's top notch.
