I'm worried....

I just bought a new Helmke Tenor Sax a few days ago for this upcoming marching season. It hasn't come in yet, but I have been reading about them. There are some forums that say that they are good horns. I have come across some that say that they are complete crap. I'm really worried about how this turns out. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? Anything about this brand would help, even if it does worry me more.

Don't worry. For a student horn these horns are just fine and they play very well. When you get the hang of it you may want to look at a Keilwerth or a Selmer Mark VII. They are great horns as you move up the ladder.

Thanks! I was told that whatever it was, it would be better than what we have at our school. They're so old, but the Vito's & Armstrong's are still good.

Have you received your Helmke Tenor by now? What do you think of it?
