Yanagisawa 880 tenor

Could anyone tell me a bit about this saxophone, for playing jazz and funk/reggae/ska music Is it a good model ? How much would you pay for it in good playing conditions ?

    I've seen that model go for around a thousand on Ebay. If this were from a respectable retail outlet, and if it was found to be in good working-recently serviced condition, and assuming 80% laquer with no major dents etc, I'd probably consider it worth $1400-$1600. My opinion is hardly definitive, however.
