What Piece to play for Audition

Hi guys, i'm 16 years old and i was in the school district jazzband last year.I played 2nd tenor. Now i need to audition again when school starts. I play tenor saxophone and i am aiming for 1st tenor. Do you guys have any advice for me??? please and most importantly, i need to pick a piece to play. Any recommendations please!??! thank you sirs and ma'ams

    hmm. I don't know much about tenors, but I suppose it depends on what kind of piece you had in mind. Slow and lagato, fast and Staccato. If it were my pick, I would say The Theme From Mission Impossible by Schifirin. If you want a cool solo, I reccomend Maple Leaf Rag. I'd played it last year on my bari (in a trio mind you)
