silver melody master sax

Hi I am a 44 yr old mom who is wanting to play a sax. I have been playing on a USA school also sax. I know of a silver melody master for sale. It really looks old, cool. The seller knows nothing and I have only seen a few pictures. What would be a reasonable price assuming the only issues hopefully would be new pads needed? Is this one of those C sax's? Should I run the other direction?
