soprano tips for tenor players?

I've been playing tenor long enough to not have serious trouble hitting any notes in the 'normal' (non-altissimo) range, and have been trying to get to the same place on soprano. I know I've got to do lots of long tones, but does anyone have any other specific recommendations for getting the full range?

patience..try working up gradually with scale excercises..take your time..if you uncover..roll the lip forward to cover less of the reed..by moving the lower jaw forward..it frees up the upper register..open throat, and relax. soprano is a very cool horn..I prefer the curved..have fun.
