benny goodman

just wondering what y'all think of benny goodman. personally, he is in my top 3 players of all time. he handled that clarinet like a third arm, with incredible tone. i think i'm in love.

    I never knew Benny personally..I've heard he was difficult to get along with..but, one of the Great Ones....

          It was the 1838 Concert at Carnagie Hall. Jazz (swing) was the popular music of the time. Benny Goodman was like a rock star in his day....Kelsey
