Hi Everyone

Hi Everyone, I just became a member so I thought I would introduce myself :). My name is James and I'm From Amsterdam. I've been playing the saxophone now for about 6 months. (first Alto and I switched to tenor about 2 weeks ago). I'm having a lot of fun exploring the world of the saxophone and of jazz. I never had much interest in Music (besides listening to the radio) but since I started playing it really grabbed me. So much so that I wrote a book about learning to play the saxophone (www.hellosaxophone.com) and I'm now working on doing interviews with some really great players to learn more and keep exploring this incredibly rich source of creativity and just pure fun. Of course I hope I will be able to get some cool info from this site as well as contribute some of my own experiences if that is helpful to anyone :). Greats James
