Newbie

Hi - I'm new to SaxQuest. I decided to join because I would like to purchase a sax for my mom's birthday. She is 85 years young and used to play in high school and college. From what I hear, she was pretty good. Of late, she said she would like to play again (remember I said she is 85 years YOUNG!). I don't want to spend a whole lot of money, as she just wants to have fun with it - but a decent horn w/good tone. She used to own a Selmer, but that's been gone since the early 60's. My research on the internet just makes me dizzy, as there are so many choices. One person will love a particular brand and then the next person will hate it. I don't know what to buy! Help please.....Jitterbug
