Information on Selmer Alto age

found my old sax and wondered what year it was and if it is rare or common. The sax was purchased in the early 70's from a professional sax player. On the back side towards the bottom I think is the Registration number 25534. On the front side of the horn is stamped: HEIR SELMER SOLEAGENTS BRITISH (cant make out next two letters) PPE EX. CANADA SELMER LONDON the finger pads for the keys are inlaid with what looks like "Mother of Pearl" but pretty sure its not. Thank you
