Decodeing the year of my Conn 10M

I am trying to figure out the year of my Conn Tenor Sax that my Grandfather left to me . I have been playing it for 2 years now and just had it repadded and repaired . It is in very god shape with a few minor dings and hardly any of the clear lost at all . The sax engraving is very plain says Conn Elkhart Indiana 10m C63907 thats all any help would be wonderful . The Guy at the music store said 1959 but one site was saying 63 or 64 . THANKS

1963 would be more like it. Later 10Ms are (still) great horns and the Grandfather connection makes it even better. Hope you enjoy it!
