Evette Schaeffer Tenor Sax

Can anyone tell me anything about my Evette Schaeffer Tenor Sax. The serial # is 9356 which this website dated to the 1890s. I just couldn't bring myself to believe that this sax, which I purchased from a pawn shop in 1993 could be that old. Any insight on this would be appreciated!

    I have a feeling that chart is either wrong or evette schaeffer restarted their serial numbers sometime, because if that were true my ES alto would be from even earlier. I think it was probably made in the late 60's, but thats a rough guestamate
