Buescher Elkhart tenor sax

Who can help me with my questions: How old is my sax? Is it a good student sax? Engraved on the bell is an Elk, It says "Built by Buescher, Elkhart Ind. USA" On the back, serial number 69476 30A Picture see URL: pieter-art.nl/Tenor01.jpg pieter-art.nl/Tenor02.jpg The sax is repadded and closes perfectly. Together with a Otto link 6 mouthpiece. I am a beginner, is this a good sax to start with?

    What up dude. I have an old ass sas to and when I start a band I was told that I could not play it. I was hoping some people get help me out.
