Mark Vl

After playing a lot of horns, mostly vintage with some newer Yamaha's thrown in, I have come to the conclusion that the Mark Vl is the best saxophone ever made!!

I hear a lot of good saxes, but nothing that sounds better really, especially with kelsey blowing it.  It has a sophisticated tonal complexity that most horns are missing.

    Re: Mark Vl

The MarkVI is very consistent in his playing, and may be the best, but I don't get
a nice sound (the sound I want) in the high register, compared with a Buescher Aristocrat or Martin RMC.
When I try other mouthpieces, I always fall back on my Otto Links 7* or 9 (probably a bit refaced, thinner rails) in 2 or 3 days.
