Vintage york merry xmas sax

Hi, I'm new here. I have brought out my grandfather's old sax for my daughter who is now in 5th grade and can start band. I was wondering what it is made of, what the finger pads are made of. The mouthpiece and music holder with original velvet green box are all there. Also the value of our sax. I found the # seems to be made in 1904.
