Conn Alto

I have a Conn Alto, ptd.Dec 8, 1914, 1119954, A, M236493, L. It is silver in color on the outside and has a micro tune neck. Can you tell me what year it is and what type of finish it is? It is brass looking inside.

    This is a late Chu Berry Conn alto saxophone. These are wonderful instruments. They have a beautiful core sound, but keywork is a bit awkward. They generally dont' sell for a lot of money unless gold plated. You can see these listed and read a lot more about these in the museum secion of this web site. Best of Luck!!
