Buescher Aristocrat

I recently bought a Buescher Aristocrat alto sax serial no. 509xxx. I was wondering if I could get the year and/or any interesting facts.

    CHeck out the serial number listings here in the museum on saxophone.org. Your sax dates to about 1970. I think Buescher was bought out by Selmer in the early 1960's. So, your sax would have actually been made by Selmer, even though it is stamped Buescher.
