Kleartone Alto Sax - Not sure what I have here....

We are pretty sure we have a Conn stencilled Kleartone with a microtuner neck and a patent date of Sept. 1915. We think it is from the 1920s. It is a low pitch alto, Chu style wonder. Might anyone know what the possible value of this could be? It is silverplated, there are no dents and everything seems to be okay (except for the padding).

Also, the serial number is 33928 if that helps.

1920s stencil horns generally don't have a lot of value. That's not to say there aren't good player's horns in the bunch. You might go to Saxpics.com or the museum section of this site to see which 1920s Conn most closely resembles your horn. Don't be surprised if your horn has some Buescher features as well. Most Conn-style stencils of that era were produced by a consortium of Conn and Buescher, and it is common for those stencils to have Conn and Buescher parts.
