Noblet Leblanc Alto

I am looking for a little information on a sax that I recently purchased.  The serial number is 14245 and is pictured as my profile picture.  Any information would help.  Thanks

Noblet and Vito were the budget brands of saxophones marketed by the Leblanc company.  Noblet serial number information is sketchy, but yours seems to be a very late one.

The Vito brand was owned by another company, not` Leblanc, until Vito Pascucci bought Leblanc late in his life....he was the long time Leblanc distributor in the USA.....Noblet was Leblanc's "student line"....they were really pretty nice, very well built horns. All of the Leblanc and Noblet saxophones, and some of the Vito horns were built by Beauginier in France. Beauginier was a wholly owned subsidiary of Leblanc. Vito also sourced horns from Yamaha and Yanigasawa, and manufactured saxophones at their own factory which was located in Kenosha,Wisconsin
