Buescher Aristocrat Tenor (156) #328xxx

I pulled down my old sax from its shelf in the garage tonight. My late uncle gave it to me in 1984. I believe he was the original owner. I checked the serial number against the chart in the "Saxophone Museum" and it looks like it's a Series II "Big B" from 1949. Can anybody on this forum confirm that for me? I'm thinking about having it overhauled. It has a few bent keys and it's a little scratched up.

Pictures would be the only way to confirm. If it was a big B a complete overhaul runs quite a bit. A repad alone where I am is around $400.

    Cheers,

Yep, a Big B tenor, one of the most sought-after Bueschers.
