Really spitty sound that won't go away

I play the alto sax since the 5th grade and I just started having this problem. My sax always sounds spitty! I have read around and have tried everything anybody has suggested! From sucking the spit back in, staying hydrated, my mouthpiece does fit on my cork, and I have several times taken the reed off and wiped it down. I have had this problem since August when my sax started sounded spitty at a football game. Please help me guys I have a concert tomorrow and I don't want to make a fool of myself!

Scrub the inside of the mouthpiece with a soft brush and mild soap. Rinse very thoroughly in warm water and dry it with a soft cloth.

Start a new reed.  Rinse it and the mouthpiece after every session.

If cleaning your mouthpiece is not working consider changing the strength of your reed (or a different brand) and getting a mouthpiece with a smaller bite (gap between read and mouth piece tip).

Also so practice long notes as this gibes you better control of your embroucher.
