curved sopranos

I love sopranos, play mostly older music, (and am older), and am intrigued by curved sopranos.  But the older ones had serious tuning problems, (of course), and were shrill above high G.  So....I bought a Yanigasawa bronze curved soprano: intonation good, (good as it gets), but, with many different mouthpieces, high A, B, C, (and above) are all more shrill than on straight sopranos.

Is this just the "nature of the beast"?  Any partial remedies?

Bob
