Finding Solid and Reliable Teachers

If you've read my first two postings in here (I'm  newbie), then you know that I am very much in favor of Teaching sources that are both "online" as well as "in person," in the form of a one-on-one with a live, skilled, and knowledgable Teacher.

That said...........has anyone heard of these two gentlemen (the one seen in the video, and the one he speaks of as HIS "Teacher?"  I suspect many of you long-time Saxophone players will say "yes."

Have you seen this series of videos? Comments? Thoughts?

Harvey Pittel and Joe Allard are heavyweights.  The lessons of Allard's technique are well worth absorbing.
