Lesser known players

I thought a thread about some lesser known, maybe not as mainstream, players would be a good idea. Please list some of your favorite players who we might not know about!!

I'll start

Dave O'Higgins (from the UK) maybe he's popular there! I'm not sure
Mike Lee
John Wojciechowski
Dino Govoni
Jim Odgren
Chad Lefkowitz-Brown

Check out Matt Otto. He plays tenor and is a marvelous composer and improvisor.

Junior Walker from Motown. I got to meet him a few years ago when he was alive. Great guy and could still play.

I know that I would prefer it that way. :)

      Re: Lesser known players

Rajiv Halim - soloist and I like his improv style Colin Stetson - crazy bass sax
Sam Gendel - solo artist and plays with Knower (crazy 80s inspired fusion band)
Michael Hernandez - classical sax player and member of Mana Quartet
      Morgan Guerin - multi-instrumentalist

    Re: Lesser known players

Grace Kelly and Leo P? Leo P has been pretty big ever since his BBC Proms exposure, but Grace Kelly might require a little bit of searching. Have a look if you don't know him/her!

    Leo P:

    Grace Kelly:

Honestly, both are slowly becoming mainstream. Sorry, if these aren't really as niche as you want.
