Saxophone history - Honours Project

Hey everyone, I've been playing the alto sax for 9 years now, and am finishing my fourth year University Music degree. I'm doing an honours project all about the saxophone, and the history, some famous players, techniques and much more. I was just wondering if any of you had some ideas of where I can get a ton of information. Either online, or books that would be useful. Thanks for your help!
