needing help with picking a saxophone for my daughter.

Hi everyone. 
I know this is probably not an australian site but thought someone maybe able to help me anyway.

My nearly 11 year old daughter  played the alto saxophone at school this year with a hired saxophone
shes wanting to keep playing but cant hire the sax again next year so we're looking at buying her one.

ive found a second hand one on ebay and was wondering if I share a like could anyone tell me if its any good or not? We only really have a budget of $400 tops as we dont know if shell stick to playing.
