Re: Conn 10M Love story
Thanks for a great tale. With some elaboration on each incident, there's easily a publishable short story there. I hope you consider working it up--you write well and I'm sure you'd find a taker.
I've been playing for only three years, but I love my 1954 10M, which I've had less than a year. Even to my relatively untrained ear, it has a rich, beautiful sound full of character; it can whisper plaintively or blow the windows out with power that's almost shocking. Every day I'm learning more and more just how expressive it will allow me to be. I know just enough to know that I haven't begun to touch it's potential--that's going to take years of practice and hard, wonderful work. Oh well, I still have time (knock wood).
Your posts (as well as those of Saxismyaxe, among others) are always highly informative, gracefully written, and generous. Thanks again.
