ive got an optimum lig on my bass clarinet. it is very responsive and open sounding- ive mostly been using the jazz plate (it is the most responsive of the 3). its a bit over priced though. i dont know if there is a big enough difference between the optimum and a standard lig, but im happy

I'm looking around for ligiatures for my alto sax. I ran across this one, the Rovner Eddie Daniels Signature, and the BG Super Soloist. How bout it? I'm playing more jazz with my sax than classical, so that might determine my purchase as well. Thanx. I'll be posting a new thread as well.

I use a vandoren optium V-16 on my metal link for tenor. It is an outstanding ligature in combination with a metal link..worth the money.
