    Re: Sax Information

Evette-Schaeffer was a student line distributed by the Buffet company up until some time in the mid-1970s.  Initially, most were produced by the R. Malerne company of Paris, then some Italian sources were added into the mix.  Some later ones were made with a combination of Malerne and Italian parts.  They were the 1960s-70s equivalent of the cheap Chinese horns today.  The bell brace on yours looks like one of the Italian ones.  It is also quite crudely made.   Otherwise the horn looks it looks Malerne-like.
