Discounts at major dealers?

I heard from someone that its possible to talk to the people at wwbw.com and such and try to get the price lower on certain items. Anyone done anything like this? Or hear of it? With how expensive these horns are this would be a clutch thing to know.

BariSax, I know of some who have received a lower price from Music 123 or wwbw by calling them. They won't "deal" thru e-mail. Plus it depends on the sax you are buying and whether they want the business. They are not going to deal with a lower priced horn. Kimo

I have experience in doing this with WWBW. Kimo is right, you have to call them through the phone or come to their store. You can usually talk them down by showing them lower prices, and then after that go even lower. You end up getting an even better deal. I saved something like 500 dollars on a yamaha tenor. -tenor562
