I have a question about an old time jazz person.

I was curious if anyone here knows a jazz artist, probably played in 50s and 60s? The lead musician of the group, and Tenor sax was known as Johnny Roberts but his real name is John Hendrickson. His wife played the piano. Does any body know the name or the person?
