King Margaux SML Alto - early serial #

I bought this saxophone in 1970 when I was in high school. The local music store didn't have a Selmer, but they said this King was virtually the same. I've left it in the case for nearly 4 decades and recently decided to start playing again. After finding your web site, it appears from the serial #21027 that this was one of the first SML King Marigaux models produced in 1969. Is this correct?

    The King Marigeaux serial numbers were in sequence with SML.  Here's some more info.
