Conn Wonder mouthpiece help

I have a Conn Wonder tenor I purchased from Junkdude last year. The mouthpiece included was a Conn traditional Steelay with the number 5 stamped into it. Is this a good piece? I like the Gene Ammons/Arnett Cobb/Lockjaw Davis tone. What would be a good reasonably priced piece for when I'm ready to move up?

That Steelay is a great piece! I have one I use on alto alot that I really like. You might try a metal piece; either a Meyer or an Otto Link. I've found that the larger chamber mouthpieces work best with the Conn saxophones, especially tenors.

Thanks Jim. I've noticed some pieces say large chamber and others say they have a large bore. Are these the same things? I tried finding info on the Steelay piece to no avail, what physical descriptions would you apply to it, chamber etc. Thanks again.
