Buesher Top Hat 400 True Tone

I have a Buesher Top Hat Alto 400 that I'm looking to sell but i can't figure out its value. Serial #299558. Norton Gold plated springs all but two. Amber rollers, tone ring under bell, pads look all original and are soft. Some scratches and some very minor dents. It has a roached case and possible original mouthpiece. From my serial number search, I think it was made around December 1942.

Any thoughts appreciated?

Great horn, worth maybe a two grand for a private sale price in top condition.  Deduct for needed repairs accordingly.  The stumbling blocks are that the horns are mechanically unique, so you'd need to shop around for a repairman who knows them, and they are very difficult horns to find a replacement case for because of the wide bow and bell flare.

There is a case compatibility chart at saxontheweb.com.  It shows one case for the TH&C alto.  It's the alto Protec XL case.
