Serial number 3167A. I'm waiting on the shots, but frankly don't think it will be around for long . will do all I can without hassling the guy. I did ask again this morning. Have a safe and happy day.

I think that is the serial number to a Leblanc Sysytem horn, not a Le Rationale....there's a HUGE difference

Thanks Steve. In honesty, I know absolutely nothing about system \ rationale. If the sn says system; system it likely is. He hasnt got back to me with photographs as of yet.

Please don't get the impression I'm dragging my heels. The guy is a dealer I have huge respect for. If he's not sending shots, its not for want of asking. Chances are, he's already got a buyer. Be nice to see, and if I do get any more information, I'll be right with you. Thanks

there is no such thing as a "semi-rationale"....you are being lied to.....run the other way.....it's either a Leblanc System or a Le Rationale. Call for documentation. No, a third party website (even mine) is not acceptable.
 

Thanks Steve. I had no intention in buying it. This guy is pushing 80 and about to hang up his apron. In his words " he's seen a few ". No photos, no idea but thanks for your time. I'll have the images pre post should anything of interest show up. Have a good day
