The Difference between Dent and Ding

you know when people said their sax got a very small ding, .... and i guess it could be a dent or something bigger? ok here can someone give defination a dent and a ding

    If your selling its a dink but if your buying its a huge dent!!. Seriously a dink is suposed to be more of a pin prick dent or small shallow dome a dent should look like a crease . Dave

      hi dave thats why i will never get english what is junk language ppl who selling it would said its small ding and when you buy it you will see its dent

        Another selling tactic in England is 'previousy enjoyed furniture' in reality its old crap that has been pulled out of a scip (dumpster in USA). The only way to be sure is to ask for a photo of the 'minor dink' and if its major i doubt the seller will reply Dave
