Conn Eagle Mouthpiece

I recently purchased two for my Conn Soprano (1924) over the internet. I got them because I want to hear what the saxophone was design to sound like. Anyway, two questions: 1. One is about 2 1/4 inches long and the other is 2 5/8 inches. Which one would have come with the 1924 version? Or how can I find out? 2. The longer one has some unevenness on the rails. Can this old of a mouthpiece be refaced? I have read articles about refacing mouthpieces. Is it worth trying myself?

    Re: Conn Eagle Mouthpiece

For anyone who is interesed, I did some research: In the 20's, Beushler and Conn made a Bb soprano and a C soprano. The Bb mouthpiece is 66mm long and the C mouthpiece is 59mm long. So if anyone has a 20's C soprano that needs an original mouthpiece, I have it.

I know this is an old post, but I just acquired a c-soprano and I'd be interested in this piece if you still have it.
