Dilemma Picking between teachers

I have a message on the general discussion forum dealing with picking between 2 teachers...my degreed music performance instructor of two years or a new instructor trained in music education but jazz oriented. I like both but it seems they step on each other (overlap) and I am wondering if the differing approaches might not be good for me. I initially thought different perspectives from different teachers would be good. Any ideas?
