Conn Soprano

Hello! I'm looking for some information on a straight brass Conn soprano, serial number M224, 8xx. I bought this sax for $700 about a year ago, in playing condition, and wonder if it is a good sop. I like it very much, though I am just a beginner player. My rig is Selmer Super Session "I" and soft or medium reeds. Thank you very much for helping me.

Thats from 1929 and would be a new wonder series 2 (commonly called " chu berry" ) very good horn and well worth what you paid and some extra. Dave

Great horn. I have a 1925 Conn straight soprano. They have a sweet sound! Try a Meyer 5M mouthpiece though, and I think it will improve your intonation.
