Are you looking for something that changes the sound, or something that will appease the neighbors when you're practicing?

i just joined this site and i love sax but I've never heard of a saxophone mute. Is there a mute for a saxophone to alter the sound like on a trombone? I'd love to get one if you have any links to sites to get one

Years ago Larry Teal told me how to make a "sax mute" by taking a curtain or embroidery hoops and wraping them with felt. It would also make the low end speak a little easier.
