This is an excellent vintage Lawton mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This silver plated piece has a darker sound than what you traditionally expect from a Lawton, it has a larger chamber and a lower baffle than most other Lawton mouthpieces, but it doesn’t sacrifice any of its big sound. Originally a 7*, it has since been opened to an 8* and measures .115”. It is in great shape physically, some minor scuffing on the bite plate and mild finish wear, mostly on the beak, but that’s it. It does still have its original ligature and cap and its in its original box.
